Xfers were founded by a group of friends: TianWei Liu, TianYao Liu, Victor Liew and Samson Leo — three computer engineers and one legal professional.

The seeds of Xfers were planted years ago, when TianWei and Victor were roommates in California’s Silicon Valley. While working there, they were frequently asked by friends back home for items that were easier to find in the US.

But when payment time came along, there would be all sorts of problems. Logistics were not easy and they collected less than what they spent.
